Brewing Guide
Crio Bru brewed cacao beverages are prepared any way that traditional coffee is prepared. This opens up many possibilities as you both brew and prepare your perfect cup. You can drink Crio Bru “black” with nothing added or you can experiment by adding your favorite creamer, sweetener, and spices. A dash of cinnamon, for example, is delicious in Ghana Light Roast. Crio Bru can also be mixed with your favorite coffee grounds to make an incredible “Crio Mocha.”
When it comes to brewing, you can brew our product in a french press or standard auto-drip coffee machine with a permanent gold filter (no paper filters please!). We include many other brewing method directions below. To brew a stronger batch, think hotter and longer. Set your auto-drip to brew slowly or brew it longer in a French Press with boiling water.
